As a brand-new firm, LVA Taxes needed an identity and an online presence that reflected that depth of experience from the very first impression.
When Larry and Chi set out to launch LVA Taxes, they did not want to hire two separate vendors and try to stitch their work together. They wanted one partner who could deliver both the logo and the website, so the brand felt consistent from the first impression to the final page. The brief was deceptively simple: design something simple yet sophisticated, and unmistakably professional. For a CPA firm, trust is the product, so the brand had to signal competence and credibility before a single word was read. The real challenge was keeping the design clean and restrained while still giving it enough meaning to stand apart from the generic templates most new firms settle for.
Our solution started with the mark. We built the logo around the letters L, V, and A, then layered in meaning the way we do for every identity. Hidden inside the lettering are an x and y axis and an upward arrow, a quiet nod to growth, performance, and the numbers behind every accounting decision. We also worked in a pen, a reference to the signatures, filings, and careful documentation at the heart of the profession. The result is a single, restrained mark that reads as simple and sophisticated at a glance, yet rewards a closer look with details that speak directly to what LVA Taxes does.
With the brand in place, we moved to the website. We designed and built the site on WordPress using Elementor, giving LVA a platform they can manage and grow without relying on a developer for every change. The structure was mapped around the pages that matter most for a growing firm: a homepage, a dedicated Lexington, Massachusetts page to anchor the firm locally in search, an about page, a services page, an industries page, and a contact page. Every page was designed to feel clean, professional, and reassuring, guiding visitors from first impression to a clear next step.
